I'm speechless. My hero has left me. My role model, my inspiration, has passed. A legend goes but his legacy has inspired millions including me. I love you Akira. You made me an artist and gave me more joy than anything else I could find doing other things. 

For perspective, the first conscious memory I have is watching DBZ on the TV in my bedroom, I played with and own literal hundreds of merch, met him in person, drew his characters, and supported his work in games writing as well as his manga theatre book he wasn't too fond of.

The memories he gave me. The contributions he gave to the PLANET in general are enormous and can't be understated. This man was my hero, and I'll think about him not being on the same planet as me for the rest of this life.
